In the heart of the beautiful Hrvatsko zagorje, near the northern slopes of Medvednica is located in Upper Stubica, the municipality which hides picturesque Hotel & Restaurant Puntar.

The restaurant was established in 1972, and during all of the past years our staff has been trying to improve its mission, which is offering premium hospitality along with a superior gourmet experience based on authentic Hrvatsko zagorje dishes and other international specialties. The restaurant can accommodate 120 people, extends over two enclosed terrace, two dining rooms, and guests can refresh and the area around the bar.

A little later, in 2008, is open hotel Puntar which is the result of quality and service because of which there has been a further investment and the possibility of opening this object. The hotel is categorized with 3 stars, is located right next to the restaurant, and offers its guests single, double and triple rooms decorated and furnished to high standards. Whether it's the tourists or business people, the hotel is popular and frequently visited because of a very favorable price compared to the quality and excellence of design, equipment and supply.

Visitors can take a walk to the memorial park Rudolf Perešin and learn about the legendary Croatian pilot. Other interesting things you can see in the near the hotel are: the parish church of St. George, Gupčeva linden, Oršić Castle, the largest Marian sanctuary in Croatia - Marija Bistrica as well as numerous recreational and cultural facilities.
